Not a beach but a natural pool carved in limestone, where the sea turns so clear that boats seem to fly: the Piscine di Venere are the definitive snorkelling stop on the Baunei coast.

## How the stop works Boats pause 30-45 minutes: you swim straight off the deck.

## Extra tip If you rent your own dinghy, arrive before 10am or after 4pm: you will have Venus's pool almost to yourself — a privilege worth the alarm clock.
