Ogliastra beyond summer
Ogliastra is the most intact stretch of eastern Sardinia: cliffs plunging into the sea, Supramonte valleys, stone villages, food still cooked at home. In summer it is beautiful and crowded. From October to March it becomes itself again: empty trails, deserted beaches, restaurants cooking for locals, some of the purest night skies in the Mediterranean.
I Mandorli is open all year, with 7 rooms in the Triei farmhouse. Our winter proposition is for people who want to slow down: couples on retreat, independent travellers, remote workers, those seeking a quiet Christmas or New Year.

The start of the off-season. Daytime 20–25 °C, sea above 21 °C in the first weeks, Supramonte trails in ideal condition.

The most authentic month. First rains bring green back to the Supramonte, olive harvest, villages return to real life.
December
Ogliastra's mild winter: short but clear days, 14–17 °C, absolute quiet in the villages. Until 19 December, the off-season rate applies.
