Less famous than its sisters and special precisely for that: Cala Sisine is a kilometre of pale gravel where one of the Supramonte's grandest canyons meets the sea, between 500-metre walls.
The cove that breathes
At Sisine there is room: even in mid-summer, walk a hundred metres and you are alone. The holm-oak wood behind the beach gives real shade — rare on the Baunei coast — and a small seasonal kiosk makes sandwiches and coffee. The seabed drops quickly: a few steps and you are swimming in blue.
From canyon to sea
The alternative to the boat is the Codula Sisine: from the Golgo a dirt road (4x4 or local jeep services recommended) leads to where the canyon narrows, then it is about an hour on foot along the dry riverbed, beneath vertical walls where griffon vultures circle. An entrance you will not forget.
