The right question is not "where to sleep near Goloritzé" but "where to start early and return well": the cove is reached only on foot from the Golgo, and your base makes all the difference.
What actually matters
For Goloritzé three things count: starting by 7:30, a real breakfast inside you, and returning to somewhere cool and silent to recover. Lodgings on the plateau itself are spartan and rare; the crowded coast adds time. The countryside between Triei and Baunei is the perfect compromise.
Why I Mandorli works
We are 40 minutes from the trailhead, on the right road: wake, farmhouse breakfast timed as you need it (dawn included), a cool car under the olives on return, and Sa Barza for your legs. Many guests hike Goloritzé on day two and boat to Mariolu on day four: the location serves both.
Practical tip
Book cove access as soon as your dates are fixed, and ask us about the weather: in a strong mistral the trail is glorious but the swim less so.
