Five thousand years of history in a single olive grove: at S'Ortali 'e su Monti, on the edge of Tortolì, Neolithic rock-cut tombs, menhirs, a giants' tomb and a nuraghe share the view over lagoon and sea.
An open-air textbook
Few Sardinian sites tell such a complete sequence: from granite-cut domus de janas (3200 BC), past sun-aligned menhirs, to the giants' tomb and the San Salvatore nuraghe with its still-legible tower. A digest of Sardinian prehistory in a ninety-minute visit.
The visit
The park is managed and well kept: clear panels, shaded paths among olives, passionate local guides who open up lesser-known corners too. From the top of the nuraghe, the view sweeps the Tortolì lagoon and the Orrì shoreline.

Combine stones and sea: morning at the park while it is cool, afternoon on the Orrì sand ten minutes away. The perfect day for curious families.
